We shot our first wedding of the season at the Lafayette Grande in Pontiac, Michigan.  It was truly one of the most unique and fun weddings we have ever filmed.

Carrie and Brad are a hoot! From the moment we hung out with them, we knew their wedding was going to be a blast! Their day started with a first look in wedding attire and ended in Nike track suits on the dance floor. Guests were greeted and served by Carrie and Brad at a sundae bar. The night was also filled with dancing, photo booth photos, karaoke, and rally towels.

Jamie + Jeremy’s Online ‘Movie’

Remember films has always posted its ‘Previews’ online, but never its ‘Movies.’ We now offer an ‘Online Movie’ that you can share with family and friends.  Jamie + Jeremy had a wonderful day at the Royal Park Hotel this past summer.  They enjoyed having ‘More Movie Minutes’ added to their package to extend the joy of reliving their special day.  Remember films always try to give a little bit more so you will always remember that once in a lifetime celebration.

I know, we’ve been talking about the weather lately, but we were amazed at the weather on Saturday.  Perfect day in the Fall!  Felt like a perfect summer day with lots of color in the trees at a beautiful location in Saline, Michigan.  Perfect spot for weddings at Wellers.  Lots of history to enjoy as well as people making history like Brittany and Rick. Congrats!

Megan + Jon’s Preview – The Reserve

It was a crisp Fall day for Megan and Jonathon’s wedding.  One of those days where you enjoy sitting in the sun while hearing the wind blow through the leaves.  Well, maybe the wind was a little bit strong at times, but it wasn’t too bad.   Their ceremony was at the First United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Michigan and the reception was at the beautiful, ‘Reserve’ in Birmingham as well.  We had a wonderful time getting to know Jon and Megan and wish them the best in their lives in North Carolina.

Hey! What’s up with the weather? Cold wind and rain on a wedding day in September?  I guess it is Michigan.  Father Bob mentioned that rain is always considered a blessing in dryer climates.  It turned out to be a great day and even the sun was able to attend for awhile.  Congrats to Cari and Greg!
